Explore the world of King Jim Co Ltd

Analogue Us was born out of a desire to share our love of stationery with fellow enthusiasts and to help that cause we are starting a new series to introduce our favourite brands to our community.

Starting with King Jim, an almost 100year old Japanese company with a huge history of office stationery goods, who launched Hitotoki in 2017 to venture into crafting and similar stationery uses. They stand out for innovatively designed products focusing on improving user experience, which makes for some very cool stationery to have in your stash. King Jim has a wide range of sub-brands in their portfolio, each themed to solve a specific user concern with its clever design.

Let's start with their Kitta washi tape stickers series that come in a small card sized booklet that is portable and can fit into your planner sleeve or pencil pouch. There are multiple styles, like the basic with washi paper stickers or the clear with PET tape and the Special series with gorgeous foil accented or stamp shaped stickers. Easy to use on the go as they are packed as individual stickers, but the patterns line up perfectly where you need to use them as a long strip of washi. 

Innovation continues in their Kori Jirushi "ice" stamps product line which are made of all clear parts, making it easy to see where you are stamping, one of the biggest issues when using a wood block mounted stamp. The stamp block, themselves, look like ice cubes with all transparent parts. Available in a range of sizes and designs. 

Coffret is their series of stickers and sticky notes inspired by a cosmetic palette and include beautifully selected colour schemes. Available as sticker rolls, that comes perforated to allow you to use as a sheet as needed, or small sheets of foil stamped stickers, great for layering or as accents on a page. The sticky notes are also available in matching colour palettes to help complete your pages aesthetically.  

SODA series of PET tape includes pretty design features like glitter finishes or die-cut styles. The tape is repositionable and easy to decorate even curved surfaces.

 

Hitotoki Note series of spiral notebooks are undated books, that allow for flexibility of use, while improving user experience by including a plastic board and sleeves for storage of small paper goods within the notebook. The are available in smaller Passport and larger Comic book sizes and include a band around the book to keep everything safe. 

 

Lastly, if you are in search of some whimsy for your desk, the very cute mini series includes miniatures of King Jim's classical stationery items like the Mini G Box File which can be used as a desk organiser for small card sized items.
